Pinspiration Friday {10}

Happy Friday!

That means it is time for Pinspiration Friday!  We have finally reached double digets for how many times I have had this!  Crazy to think I have been doing this for 2.5 months!!

This week's Pinspiration is a little different because they aren't really crafts that I want to make.  Instead, it is Pinterest ideas that I thought were cool.

Bows

They just look so cute and easy!!  Hasn't there ever been a time when you really wanted a bow for a present but you just don't have one?

Well now you never have to fret.  You can just make one out of paper or even scrapbook paper!

I can see someone getting very creative with these bows.

Nightstand Charging Station

This is a great idea!  I know Eric and I have a lot of things to charge and this is brilliant.  However, I can't decide if it is worth using up valuable drawer space.

As far as I am concerned, that is the only drawer in the house that will be only mine without Eric being able to complain about it.

So yes, I plan on my nightstand drawer being a catch-all place.  Sort of like a child's under the bed space or in the closet.

Chevron How-To

All I can say about this is, this is awesome!!!  Simplest one I have seen yet!

Pinspiration Friday {9}

Happy Friday Everyone!

Its that time of week again, Pinspiration Friday!

Are you ready for my Pinspiration?!  Looks like I am going strong with 2 pins a week!

I am not a big burlap fan but I really like this one!  It is so cute and put together.  It also looks really easy to make!

It would be perfect with an L on it too!

Table Redo

Eric wants to make our kitchen table, so in the meantime we have a fold up card table.  I think it looks like this, but I will be honest, he threw a table cloth over it so you wouldn't see it.  

I think this would be a great temporary fix until we actually get a table!  Also, super cute!

Pinspiration Friday {8}

Happy Friday!

Finals are over so it is one of the best Friday!  I hope everyone had a great week!

It is time for Pinspiration Friday!!

I am totally slacking with regards to Pinspiration lately.  I have just been so busy I haven't had time to sit on Pinterest.  Its horrible!

I do have two pins for you!

The week has been so long that I don't remember pinning the quilt this week!  But I still love it.  '

The best thing about Pinspiration Friday is that I get to look at all of my old pins!

Linen Closet

Isn't the closet just so cute?!  Okay I know they have cute towels and accessories which make it super cute but besides that, it is so organized and I love it!

The new house doesn't really have towels so its not like we can make it super cute like this but I have a goal to make it organized and cute like this one!

Chevron Quilt

I don't know if you realized this, but I love chevron.  Not that my blog hasn't been a hint about my love!

But I so badly want to make a quilt and why not make it chevron?!

I have finally found a tutorial...finally!  I have to make it now!  Or maybe in two years when I am done with school.

Either way I love this!  I am thinking grey and yellow...

Pinspiration Friday #6

I used CollageIt for my Pinspiration collage this week and I love it so much more than what I was using before!  I was actually quite surprised by the amount I found this week because I had a lot of tests so I didn't have much time to pin!

Scrubbies

My family uses these scrubbies all of the time!  I have watched my MiMi and Great Aunt make these before but I have never actually made them myself.

Not that I really ever knew how to make them but now I do!

I need to learn how to make them ASAP!

Camera Strap

Look how cute this camera strap is!  I don't think that I would paint mine the same but there is a tutorial to show you how she made it so I can just change the pattern

If I make one, I will definitely be following this tutorial!

Basket Stand

I love my house but there isn't any storage in the bathroom.  Great sink but there is only a medicine cabinet and no cupboards under the sink.

This would look adorable and give me storage so I would have somewhere to put my hair dryer!

Definitely making this or something similar!

Placemats

I am not a big placemat person but aren't these just the cutest?!  They are so different than normal placemats.

I could definitely see them on a patio table!

Quilt

I so badly want to make a quilt...like really badly.  But its just like fondant, seems so complicated and intimidating!

This is a very detailed post about to how to make a quilt!  I feel so motivated to try it out!!

4 Steps To Add Pins To Your Blog

Hi Everyone!

Since this Friday we are having a Linky Party for Pinspiration Friday, I thought I would share how to add a pin to your blog!

I will be honest, this took me some time to figure out how to do and every time I add them, I still sort of have to figure it out again.

Here are the steps!

1. Select the Pin and Share

Select the pin that you want too add to your blog.  In the top right corner, select "Share" and then "Embed".

You will be taken to a new page called "Button and Widget Builder".

2.  Select pin appearance

Second, select how you would like the pin to appear in your blog.  For actual pins, I suggest the Pin Widget.

3. Edit HTML to allow pins

Next, go to your blog's post composition page (HTML version) and insert the following code at the top of the page.

The code is the advanced version.  Unfortunately every time I use the easy version, it doesn't work.  But the advanced code does!

4. Add Pin

Copy the code on the "Button and Widget Builder" page that looks like this:

Isn't that extremely easy?!
